I’ve had this since Aug. 09 and have been very happy with its performance. I use it on a stationary bike in my basement. It comes with a gizmo that allows you to mount it (the watch) to the handlebars on the bike. In the old days when I used the much overpriced Polar I had to use double sided tape to mount it.
The other thing I like about it is that u can replace the battery yourself on the transmitter (The part that attaches to your chest). You simply insert a coin in the slot on the back of the transmitter and remove the quarter sized cover to gain access to the battery. It uses a common type of watch battery available at Radio Shack, Best Buy, etc. With the polar u had to ship the whole transmitter to them and they had to break the harmetic seal and replace it. This is not cheap and the batteries only lasted around 12-14mos. Not to mention the delay in recieving it back from them.
I highly recommend this product for its performance, convenience and reasonable price.

Seems to be accurate the couple of times i compared it by palpating.
I have hit it with the water hose a few times and appears water resistant.
Band is pretty comfortable.
Biggest complaint is no stopwatch.
